Katie and Mark - Saint John, New Brunswick wedding photography

It was so much fun to be involved in Katie and Mark's wedding. From the theme of their wedding stemming from their shared love of film to the uptown sites for pictures, the whole day reflected their personalities. They are both easygoing and fun people who are also incredibly gracious and caring. The ceremony and reception were both at the beautiful Homeport Bed and Breakfast. You can view some of their images as a slideshow or scroll down to see them individually. Congratulations again Katie and Mark!

Par-en-Bas Prom pictures - Yarmouth, NS grad photography

I had the opportunity to take pictures of a few couples during the day of the École secondaire de Par-en-Bas prom. We did some pictures at a couple of different locations and then all the grads made their way to Frost Park for some pictures all together. It is so much fun to see everyone gathered all together at the park. I love seeing not just the excited grads but all the proud parents and grandparents crowded together taking pictures in the park. Heidi and Brandon - Yarmouth engagement photography

When Heidi booked this engagement session for the end of March, I was hoping we might get a nice, warm Spring day. Maybe even the first signs of green on the trees. Instead, we had to postpone a day because of a snowstorm and ended up with this snowy wintery feel to the pictures. I wasn't disappointed though because I knew beforehand that Heidi likes snow pictures. When we started the session, it quickly became clear that the weather wouldn't have mattered a bit. Even in a hurricane, these two would be happy to be together, getting more and more excited for their upcoming wedding. They made it fun to be trudging through the fresh snow at the end of March. I'm really looking forward to their wedding in August (and I can guarantee no snow). You can check out their slideshow here! [blogshow id=46c4 player=0 autoplay=0 toolbar=0]

Kaitlynn and Phil

When we met for a wedding consultation, Kaitlynn let me know they were looking for something a little bit different for their engagement session. They wanted to do their pictures in the winter snow. Snow can be hit or miss here in Yarmouth some winters. Thankfully the deep freeze this year worked in our favour and we got a great day last weekend. It was a lot of fun. You'd have to be trying pretty hard though to not have fun with Kaitlynn and Phil. I'm really looking forward to their wedding. [blogshow id=46b6 player=0 autoplay=0 toolbar=0]

Allison and Nick - Yarmouth wedding photography

It is so nice when a couple can get through the stress and craziness of a wedding day and be able to enjoy themselves. When it started raining torrentially, it didn't matter, because they were getting married. When their first dance got interrupted by a fire alarm, it didn't matter, because they were married! (Note to future wedding guests: Only surprise the bride and groom with sparklers during their first dance if the reception is outside. That way the fire trucks don't have to visit.) It was a really fun day with a delightful couple. [blogshow id=469b player=0 autoplay=0 toolbar=1]
